Writer's Ink is in need of volunteers to help us fulfill our mission.
Volunteer for Writer's Ink
Everybody wants to get paid. And we want to pay talented people, but like so many other organizations we just can't afford it. Non-profit organization board members cannot profit from the corporation. We volunteer what time we have, and we can only expect that of others. We volunteer as much time as we do because we believe in the power and potential of performance poetry and all the writing art forms. If you love poetry, help us out. Whether it's passing out fliers, working on the board of directors, hosting a poetry slam, legal advice, or acconting services you may or may not get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside - but it still looks good on your resume.
